Caring for your whole body - now offering a prenatal massage with our birthing package

What I liked most about Kathya was how she seems to have married her knowledge of midwifery (which is extensive) and her honest love of children and the birthing process. I found her to be thoughtful and sincere.

“I feel she really nurtures the relationship between mother and midwife.”

New information suggests that home births are a realistic and safe option, with less complications and intervention than hospital births. A new Cochrane Library review revealed that all countries should think about setting up proper home birth services.

Home Births May Be Safer Than Hospital Births

My labor, though painful and intense, was peaceful and exciting and I am grateful to you for that. You caused no stress or discomfort during labor, instead, you were inspirational and encouraging, and you gave me confidence and told me what to do when I didn’t know, with such comfort and guidance, that I am, to this day, still thankful.

A big thanks and rated 5 star service

A Message from the Midwife

Meet Kathya Raebel, DEM
kathya-raebel-dem-homebirth-midwifeMy mission is to educate parents and help them make an informed decision for their family. There are so many options out there for parents and I continue to be surprised by the number of people who do not know about the world of natural birth.

I have collected information on birth preparation, prenatal health and nutrition, and a healthy postpartum. It is also a resource for finding pediatricians, holistic baby shops, supplies for waterbirth and so many other resources specific to the Las Vegas and surrounding area. If there is anything I missed please contact me.

What other expenses may I have?

Lab fees and ultrasounds are not included. If you would like a water birth, their will be a technician fee for setup. You will also have to get a birthing kit which will include essentials for your birth and postpartum. You will also have to collect items from the needs list.

How many people can be at my birth?

As many people as you like. It’s your day. I will bring an assistant midwife.

Will I get to meet your assistant?

Yes, of course. During prenatal care you will have the opportunity to meet my assisting midwife and get to know her.

Do you do water birth?

Yes. That is one of the most wonderful and relaxing tools that I can offer my clients! For an additional fee, a birthing pool can be setup and cleaned up for you. Learn more about my waterbirth services here.
